Roughly 20 minutes north of Philadelphia’s Center City, Cheltenham Township stands as one of the area’s oldest communities. With roots that date back to its original establishment in the 1680s, the city is rich with history, including the Wall House, one of Pennsylvania’s oldest residences.

Cheltenham Township offers residents an idyllic, small-town lifestyle with plenty of conveniences in addition to its historical lineage. Three major rail stops within the township provide easy access to Philadelphia's major points of interest.

Architecturally interesting housing is also quite accessible and offers homebuyers variety in both price and style. Elkins Park and Wyncote prove the most popular areas, with home prices ranging from $350,000 to upwards of $700,000.

    Annual events in Cheltenham Township include Arts in the Park at High School Park and the Summer Concert Series at the Curtis Arboretum. For even more live music, the Keswick Theatre in Glenside is a popular concert venue.

    For those wanting to escape to the outdoors, Wyncote’s Thomas Williams Park is a nine-acre park that includes four tennis courts, a playground, and soccer and softball fields.
